It is that time of year when we send out our yearly letter. The letter allows us to communicate what your Fire Department has been up to. It also asks each of you to contribute to us so we can continue providing a valued service and peace of mind for you and your families.
Dear friends and neighbors, It is that time again when we send out our annual letter and let you know what your fire department has been up to. Over the past year we have celebrated our 75th anniversary, welcomed new members, and unfortunately had to say goodbye to some members, Your fire department was formed out the ashes so to speak after a terrible fire that burned several local businesses. Towns people came together to form your department and we have led the way for 76 years. We have steadily improved the department through training, purchasing much needed equipment, and replacing older, out of date equipment. All which costs money. Your department has looked for innovative ways to be able to get the equipment through grants. Although the grants are hard to get, we try each year but have only been successful once. We use this yearly letter to ask for your support and you have always supported us well. We ask for your continued support which will allow us to protect you, your loved ones, friends, and neighbors.
Thanks for your continued support,
Chris Neice,
Pembroke Fire Chief |
